The Battle Of Chancellorsville began on April 30, 1863 and ended on May 6, 1863. The battle of Chancellorsville was said to be the Confederacy "Perfect Victory" because they had only half as many soldier as the Union. They had only 57,000 and the Union had 97,000, however they still won. Their battle plan was to split their team in half. They went in around and surprised the Union. The Union was not ready for this attack so later had to surrender. Confederates we very pleased with this battle. It was a Confederate victory!
