The Battle of Chickamauga
The Battle of Chickamauga lasted from September 19-20 1863 in Catoosa and Walker counties, Georgia. The Union General was William Rosecrans and the Confederate General was Braxton Bragg. They Union had 58,000 soldiers and the Confederacy had 66,000 soldiers. The Confederacy had lots of men but had 18,500 casuilties. The Union only had 16,000 casuilties. It was an amazing battle for both teams however the Union surrender and it became a Confederate victory!
